Latin Students Tour…Ancient Italy

Travel to Sorrento, overlooking the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, and marking the beginning point of the spectacular Amalfi Coast drive.  In depth study will include excursions to the incredibly preserved ruins at Pompeii and Herculaneum.  Travel by boat to the Isle of Capri to see Villa Jovis, the gardens of Augustus and the famous Blue Grotto.  Your tour may also include a visit to the National Museum in Naples, where many of Italy’s national treasures are housed, and the Cameo and Sorrento Wood Factories.  In Rome, see all the famous sights, such as the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the column of Marcus Aurelius, and St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City.  Additional in-depth tours will include the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Arch of Constantine, Piazza Venezia and Campidoglio, the Pantheon, and Ara Pacis.  You will also visit Hadrian’s Villa, and travel to Appia Antica to the St. Callisuts’ catacombs, Circus of Maxentium and the Tomb of Cecilai Metella.

Theater Tour of London and Stratford

A theatre tour to England can include backstage theatre tours of Her Majesty’s Theatre and/or New London Theatre in London as well as the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.  And, of course, you’ll attend one or more productions in the famous theatre district of London.  The tour may also include a Globe Education Workshop, concentrating specifically on a play by Shakespeare or one of his contemporaries.  We suggest 4-5 days in London and two days in Stratford-upon-Avon.   Additional sightseeing could include Windsor Castle,  the Tower of London, Warwick Castle, the towns of Oxford and Caternbury and so much more!
